Meet Jeff Emmett

I’m Jeff Emmett, owner and home inspector with The Fox Team – Pillar To Post Home Inspectors.

For me, a home inspection is about much more than identifying defects. It’s about helping people understand the home they’re buying, what matters now, what may need attention down the road, and how the different systems of the home work together. My goal is for every client to walk away from their inspection feeling informed and confident—not overwhelmed by a long list of unfamiliar terms and potential concerns.

I take an educational, practical approach to inspections. Homes are rarely perfect, and not every issue needs to become a major concern. I believe part of my job is putting what I find into perspective, explaining it in plain language, and helping clients distinguish between routine maintenance, safety concerns, and items that may require more significant attention.

I’m also proud to work closely with real estate professionals throughout the Denver metro area and Colorado’s foothill and mountain communities. I understand that an inspection is one important piece of a much larger transaction, and I work hard to provide thorough inspections, clear communication, same-day reporting, and a professional experience for everyone involved.

The Fox Team has grown since I first started the business, but the philosophy behind it hasn’t changed: be thorough, be honest, explain what you see, and treat every client the way you’d want your own family treated.

When I’m not inspecting homes, I enjoy spending time with my wife and son and taking advantage of everything that comes with living in Colorado. This is our home too, and I’m proud to help other families feel more confident about making it theirs.
